Professor Al-Rubaiy is an award-winning doctor and has been awarded 3 competitive national and local awards for work in Gastroenterology and Hepatology in the UK. In 2017, Dr Al-Rubaiy was competitively selected to be named the “Young Gastroenterologist of the year: Emerging Leader” by the British Society of Gastroenterology in the UK.
